Children and adolescence are individuals ages 0-19. Exodus Counseling Center provides services for children ages 3+. Children and adolescence are in a crucial developmental stage in life in which they are learning cognitive and social-emotional skills that can be greatly influenced by those around them. Sometimes children/adolescence have negative experiences that alter the way their mind processes and learns new information.

At Exodus Counseling Center, we work to build a positive relationship with each child and adolescent that we have the opportunity to serve by developing a supportive, empathetic environment. We understand that as the world continues to change, more pressure and challenges to succeed can create new anxieties and struggles. Exodus Counseling Center strives to validate these experiences while empathetically challenging clients to build their already existing strengths to cope with life’s changes.

As a parent or caregiver of a child or adolescent, it can be difficult to understand the new challenges that our kids are facing. Exodus Counseling Center will walk alongside you to best support you in supporting your child. Exodus Counseling Center is able to provide sessions that include both the parent/caregiver and the child/adolescent as it can be difficult to address challenging conversations without a neutral, third party.
